No — you can try the full study loop as a guest, no account needed. Create one (Google sign-in or email, no credit card) when you want your progress, streak, and review schedule saved, since those are per-user. One-click account deletion in Settings.
The AI doesn't touch definitions. All 3,000+ definitions, parts of speech, and synonyms are drawn from published references and reviewed before release. AI only writes the example sentence around your interests; a validator confirms the target word is present, exactly one blank, and runs sanitization. Flag a bad one and it's reviewed.
Today's product — 3,000+ words, 24 interest topics, unlimited study, every generated sentence — stays free for any account created before a paid tier is announced. Paid tiers will be additive (AI-generated word lists, more learning goals at once). We'll email 30 days before any change. No card on file, ever, until you opt in.
